Vibrant colors in this series mirror the vivacity of life and the prevalence of neon signs throughout American culture.  In the calilu Series, I craft photo-collage works, utilizing original photographs that are layered and transformed through computer and imagination. 

These collages are printed on various surfaces, including glass, canvas, fabric, aluminium and stone. In particular, the 36 x 24-inch canvas prints, originating from my earliest series in the early 2000s, are enriched with three-dimensional pop culture elements, bringing added depth and a playful, vibrant energy to the artworks.
