The ALPINE series depicts environmental changes like melting glaciers, snowless mountains, and snow masses in other regions, along with increasing windstorms. These artworks convey urgent climate concerns while also symbolizing the passage of time we all experience. I use charcoal, wax, ink, lacquer polish on craft paper as materials.

In 2023, California experienced an impressive winter season, with snow masses stretching from the mountains to some parts of the city of Los Angeles. This natural phenomenon inspired my plaster series, which reflects these environmental events, capturing the connection between the snow, the mountains and the ocean.
